Paxil has a long half-life. For about 8 weeks I felt kind of "out of it" and had electric "zaps" when I moved my head suddenly and ringing in my ears that about drove me nutz. The doctor gave me some klonopin which really helped with all that. Really you're supposed to taper off the stuff but I couldn't stand the side effects and quit cold turkey.
