For severe depression nonresponsive to medications that can take when you can help with panic attacks that can take when you feel the attack coming on.

Having roomed wit someone who has received ECT or electronic shock therapy you do not want to do this. It is very painful. After you have it done I guess it feels like you got hit by lightning and you sleep forever. Also people with uncontrollable seizure sometimes try this as a last resort. I would only try this once all other avenues have been exhausted. There are some newer medications out there that are doing pretty well. Stick with the meds
